Days Out: Paris

So on the first day of my retirement, I received a marketing email from Eurostar, with an offer of £39 tickets to Paris.

I'd said that I wanted to do more European city mini-break exploring when retired, so checked with lou and she said yep...

So off I went for a 3 day trip. Hit a perfect 3 days of blue skies in early spring - it was beautiful

A few highlights below:

One for Lou

Stayed in the 18th, on the backside of the Montmatre Hill (i.e. away from the tourists). It was superb - full of amazing Bistros like this one

Also did a trip to the 13th to see the Art Deco

Paris' most Instagramed street

And visited a few places I'd known from working there about 10 years ago
