ABC: East Sussex: Camping: Beechwood Estate

So it turns out that one of the amazing benefits of being retired is the ability to pivot your plans quickly. The UK suddenly had a mini heat wave (in early May), so I decided to set off on a little mini break and knock off a few more ABCs

I found Beechwood on the nearly wild camping site, and I have to say it was pretty perfect. A huge site, well maintained, in a lovely Beech forest, and since it was midweek, I pretty much had the place to myself.

And so followed a few days/nights of excellent camping, walking, exploring, campfire cooking.

Cooked up a Keema of sorts
